Background

Meyers Engineering Services was established in 1968 to supply South Australian industry with the highest quality range of sealing devices and the very best of technical advice, which now incorporates a division that is responsible for centrifugal pump packaged systems and bareshaft pump supply as well as positive displacement pumps. Meyers Engineering Services was still a family owned company until the end of March 2001, when it was acquired by Tyco Flow Control Pacific Pty Ltd. Still located at Regency Park in Adelaide, this facility comprises of offices/warehouse/repair and training facility.

Another division of our operations which is a direct operation, is situated on the BHP Billiton-Mine Lease and comprises of a office/stock and repair facility and has been set up to continue to service the rotating equipment, valves, hydraulic cylinders and actuators for BHP Billiton and their Olympic Dam Operation and as on-site representation for the supply of centrifugal packaged pump systems and other items.

Due to a recognised need for quality products and services for our interstate clients in the Eastern States, distributors have been appointed for Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia and Tasmania whilst negotiations are continuing with prospective distributors for the balance of the States and Territories.
